Class Description

Coffee, Cake and Calm is an informal group in the woods. There are so many benefits to attending a baby session outdoors for both babies and adults alike. Improved well being, fresh air, vitamin D and the chance to connect with the world around you. The ever changing world outside creates a unique sensory experience for babies every time they venture out. We start our session with a song and a brief introduction to the activity including how this supports your baby's development. The rest of the session is dedicated to free exploration allowing babies to engage with the resources, lay under the canopy of trees or simply watch the world go by. Each week we have a new exploration activity to engage your little one and help them to learn about the world around them. Some of our sensory experiences include silver, reflective play, treasure basket exploration and musical instruments. Our sweet treats always come from a local, independent bakery and are absolutely delicious. We are able to cater for most dietary requirements but please make us aware of these when booking so we ensure you get a treat you can enjoy! Each booking is for one adult and one baby only please due to cakes and hot drinks being included. Occasionally we will release additional adult spaces the day before to fill the remaining spots. These will be charged at a slightly discounted rate. These will be advertised on our social media if and when they are available.
