Woodland Wanderers

From 12 months to 4 years old.

This is an outdoor play session with activities linked to our book of the week.

We begin by sharing the story of the week in our story circle. Please don't be put off if your child is not yet ready to sit and listen to a story. There is no pressure to sit still if your child is ready to get busy!

Each week we have some familiar play stations such as the mud kitchen and physical area. We also have a few new activities linked to our story of the week. Please head to our gallery to see some examples of the activities on offer!

Please come dressed appropriately in old clothes suitable for mud, paint, glue and water play. Sessions go ahead in most weather conditions so remember layers and appropriate footwear.

We join together to finish the session with our popular parachute songs. Why not head to the farm playground after a session or see how many of the farm animals you can spot on the way back home?

Coffee, Cake and Calm

From birth to 12 months old.

This is a relaxed outdoor session for parents and babies. As this session is as much for parents as it is for babies there is no minimum age to attend, just whenever you are ready to leave the house! Our youngest babies often sleep through the sessions giving new parents the chance to build their 'village'.

We begin with a welcome song and an introduction to the activities.

Each session has a different theme from hedgehogs to farms and Spring to teddy bears picnic.

After our welcome song parents have chance to get to know one another whilst enjoying a hot drink and a sweet treat from The Barn Coffee Shop.

Babies are free to explore the activities at their own pace under the beautiful canopy of trees. A truly peaceful experience.

We finish the session with some parachute songs. Parents often like to visit The Barn Coffee Shop onsite after a session to share lunch together!
