We currently run two different sessions, one aimed at pre-walkers called 'Coffee, Cake & Calm' and our classic Woodland Wanderers session for early walkers to pre-school. All our classes take place in the beautiful Meanwood Park.

What is Coffee, Cake & Calm?

Woodland Wanderers

A slightly more structured group for children who are walking. Each week we meet in the woods for an outdoor themed story. The children are then free to roam around and try out the activities as they wish. We have a few firm favourites such as the mud kitchen, painting and books areas that make a regular appearance. As well as this we often have a craft linked to our story and sensory trays to support the children in learning about the world around them. All of our activities are carefully planned to ensure they support a range of areas of learning as well as building the children’s confidence. At the end of a session we join together to sing some songs before we wave goodbye.
