About Our Classes
Woodland Wanderers' classes take place in Meanwood Park.
​
We begin each week with an outdoor themed story and some hot chocolate! The children then have the chance to take part in some outdoor activities linked to the story.
​
In addition to the activities on offer, we encourage the children to have some free time to explore.
​
Our classes take place in all weathers so appropriate clothing is a must!
​
We would encourage you to attend at least two half termly blocks to allow your child to experience the woodland across two different seasons.

Our Ethos
We understand that young children often have their own important agendas! Therefore our classes have a relaxed approached and the focus is on the process rather than an end product.
All of the activities on offer are optional and children can dip in and out as they please.
​
We run the classes as half termly blocks rather than one off sessions. We feel it is important for children to build relationships with others in their group. This promotes friendships, communication skills and team working.
